We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank

because on

This Devil's Workday

Someone might as well

Dig Your Grave

because a lot of us with our

Black Cadillacs

believe that

We've Got Everything

But when one sees

The View

of

The World At Large.

They'll realize they're just a

Fly Trapped In A Jar

Though before you start

Spitting Venom

and

Blame It On The Tetons

Everyone has

One Chance

to use their brain, so

Fire It Up

with

Education.

Some may live in a

Little Motel

and days may feel a little more like

Bukowski.

You'll probably want to bang your head against the

Dashboard

when you're

Invisible

to people who fail to see your

Steam Engenius.

Some have told me that those are the good times. Though

The Good Times Are Killing Me

When the day I am

Satin In A Coffin

I'll just

Bury Me With It

,because no matter how much the

Ocean Breathes Salty

from this

Dance Hall

We can all

March Into the Sea

and

Float On

to

Florida.
So yeah, this is just something that popped into my head this morning while listening to Modest Mouse. These are my two favorite albums: Good News For People Who Love Bad News and We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank, and for some reason this little connection was made. I did leave out three songs that wouldn't make sense here. I try to give it a positive message at the end though.

I guess my main meaning is that no matter how bad life maybe, if you work hard paradise is always at the end. Possibly? I'm not sure...

You guys can take whatever you want from it or ignore it. Doesn't matter to me

Though if I were recommend five songs out those albums they would be:
Fly Trapped In A Jar
Float On
Ocean Breathes Salty
Spitting Venom

Another Modest Mouse fan! They were my top favorite band for the longest time, and their "Good News For People Who Love Bad News" album remains as one of my all-time favorite albums :3

And great job on putting all of these together to create one overall theme from the music, it fits very well :iconclapplz:
